I have a limited availability and the sessions are first come first served. Payment must be made in advance before a time slot is saved and can be made using Paypal. You may also mail a check but please note your session time will not be saved until payment is processed due to extremely limited availability. Due to the limited amount of time for minis I can’t take extended families, seniors, or newborn sessions. The mini will be held in one predetermined location.

What is a Holiday Mini Session?
You pay up front for an all-inclusive Holiday Package. There are three available with different options depending on whether you want to sit back and have your card done FOR you (I want that option!!) or if you like to create one yourself. The session fee is included in the price of the package. You get exactly 20 or 30 minutes to take photos (depending on the package you purchased). You are promised at least 10-15 online proofs to choose from, but if you know me, there will likely be more! Mini Sessions are held at a predetermined location.

The Mini sessions are scheduled on select dates October through early December. Please contact Stacey Hughes to book your session.  Limited Thanksgiving weekend sessions available!!

All sessions must be paid in full to reserve your session day/time. Session fees are refundable up until 7 days prior to your session. No omissions or exchanges can be made to the packages listed. Additional portraits may be purchased at discounted a la carte prices, but there is no obligation to buy.

I remember it like yesterday.  We showed up at school, walked up onto the stage in front of EVERYONE, were handed a comb to brush our hair, then were expected to give a dazzling smile while all your classmates snickered in line.  NO THANKS!! My parents prepaid for a photo package – one 8×10, four 5x7s, and way too many wallets of an image I preferred NOT to preserve.  You will find no evidence of my 5th grade school photos anywhere – they have been destroyed.  Ho hum.  Just a photographer…saving MY SCHOOL YEARS books, one child at a time.  I like these girls TOO MUCH to let it happen to them .  Now I just need to schedule in my OWN children.

 

Amanda is a senior from the class of 2013.  We started out in a beautiful field capped with yellow and purple flowers.  We were a bit rushed due to the EEE concerns in the area, so we bug sprayed, shot for about 10-15 minutes, then got out of there! We moved over to Tougas Farm starting at the peach fields, hoping to wait long enough for the apple picking crowds to move out.  When we arrived, it was still packed!! So much for closing at 5:30.  No problem – we sweet talked some workers into letting us shoot in the back near some fantastic crates (thinking outside the box – ha!) until they closed the store.  A great session.  Amanda is always smiling and laughing – a JOY to spend my Saturday night with! Below is just a small sampling from her senior session.

If you are anything like me, I’ve spent money on school portraits only to be disappointed with the prints that come back in that plastic package. Sessions are back-to-back so please make sure you are on time. All sessions are held at Dean Park or Old Stone Church. This child is simply DELICIOUS! His curly red hair and toothy grin resulted in me COMPLETELY losing track of time.  Totally worth it

 

This is one of the most gracious families I’ve ever met. It was truly an honor to be their wedding photographer.
